AKWAABA! (WELCOME!)

Welcome to Vii's Services. The World Wide Web's premier one-stop source for information on African American heritage, inventions, and culture. This is the place to find out about the many pieces of African American history that have been hidden for so long.

My name is Viola Sanders. Most folks just call me "Vii, with the double i". For the past 20 years, I have been traveling around the country sharing the rich history and mighty deeds of those Africans who eventually became part of the foundation and fabric of this country. I have a passion for finding the truth about African American contributions to this society and sharing it in ways that are meaningful and fun.

You are welcome to join me on this journey of discovery, joy and pride as we uncover the truth about those geat and mighty ancestors who shaped the world we live in today.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to Vii's Services and that you will make this a place to visit time and time again. Enjoy!...and come back soon. .

Ms. Martha Speaks

"History is a clock that people use to tell their political and cultural time of day.
It is a compass they use to find themselves on the map of human geography.
It tells them where they are but more importantly, what they must be."
John Henrik Clarke

Wisdom of the Elders
