Viola H. Sanders, founder and President, has a deep commitment to promote African American culture and history. Her desire to share her vital interest made the founding of Vii's Services, Inc. a necessary undertaking.

Viola is a native of North Carolina and attended business school in New Jersey after which she was employed by New Jersey power company, PSE&G, where she worked for twenty-three years.

Current business memberships include: American Business Women Association, Columbia Writers Alliance, NAACP - Columbia , Toastmaster International, and The Red Hat Society.

Past memberships include: Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. , Concerned Citizens of Piscataway, New Jersey American Business Coalition, Executive Board of the Metuchen-Edison, NJ , National Urban League Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP), Piscataway Township Historic Advisory Commission, Advisory Board of Katherine Gibbs School in Piscataway, NJ. Viola is also a co-founder of the African American Entrepreneur Network, based in Piscataway, NJ.

She has appeared on several television and radio shows around the country and was featured in the Feb 2010 issue of Black Resource Magazine, The Network Journal Magazine, a magazine for African American professionals and small business owners, and AS WE LIVE Magazine - 2007 in the South Carolina area. Viola released her first publication in 1996, entitled "African American Inventors" and has recently developed additional educational material for people of all ages.

Viola is married to Richard Sanders and they are the proud parents of one son, Maurice, and daughter-in-law, Michelle, Sanders. 

Vii’s African American Services is the culmination of fifteen years of research relative to the inventions and other achievements of African Americans in this country.

Viola decided in the early stages that a catalyst was needed to unearth and disseminate the truth about African American inventions and other contributions of significance.

Thus began the search which would become a labor of love and eventually emerge as Vii’s ”African American Services”, a company committed to the production of exhibitions and publications about the many achievements by African Americans to the United States and the world.

This type of promotion offers great image building potential and has been well received by the Black community as well as non- African Americans.
